A leading Scottish law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join its established team in Aberdeen on a hybrid basis. Description
- Provide tailored legal advice to private clients on a range of matters, including wills, trusts, and estates.
- Draft and review legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Manage probate processes and administer estates efficiently.
- Advise on inheritance tax planning and asset protection strategies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver seamless professional services.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation affecting private client work.
- Ensure all work is completed to high professional standards and within deadlines.
Profile
A successful Private Client Solicitor should have:
- A solicitor or equivalent with 2-8 years' PQE in Private Client law.
- Experience in private client legal work, including wills, trusts, and estates.
- Keen to achieve or continue working towards STEP qualification.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents and managing probate processes.
- Knowledge of inheritance tax planning and asset protection.
- Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
- A relevant legal qualification and professional accreditation.
