Private Client Solicitor Opportunity

A leading Scottish law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join its established team in Aberdeen on a hybrid basis. Description

  • Provide tailored legal advice to private clients on a range of matters, including wills, trusts, and estates.
  • Draft and review legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage probate processes and administer estates efficiently.
  • Advise on inheritance tax planning and asset protection strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver seamless professional services.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation affecting private client work.
  • Ensure all work is completed to high professional standards and within deadlines.

Profile

A successful Private Client Solicitor should have:

  • A solicitor or equivalent with 2-8 years' PQE in Private Client law.
  • Experience in private client legal work, including wills, trusts, and estates.
  • Keen to achieve or continue working towards STEP qualification.
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents and managing probate processes.
  • Knowledge of inheritance tax planning and asset protection.
  • Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
  • A relevant legal qualification and professional accreditation.
