About The Role
A Legal 500-ranked firm seeks a Private Client Solicitor with four or more years' PQE to join its growing team in Hertfordshire. This full-time, permanent post carries a salary of £50,000 to £60,000, dependent on experience. Working alongside seasoned colleagues, the successful candidate will advise a diverse client base on a broad range of private client matters, delivering clear, practical, and tailored guidance. The caseload is varied and rewarding, offering strong client exposure plus genuine scope to build a personal client following and progress. Applicants should combine solid technical knowledge with excellent communication skills and a commercial, client-focused approach.

The Role
Working closely with experienced colleagues, you will advise a diverse client base on a broad range of private client matters, providing clear, practical, and tailored advice throughout. The role will offer a varied caseload and significant client contact, with the opportunity to take ownership of matters and develop strong, long-term client relationships. You will be encouraged to develop your own areas of expertise and play an active role in the continued growth of the department.
This is an excellent opportunity to work across a broad range of private client matters, which may include wills, probate and estate administration, trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Inheritance Tax, and estate planning. The role will provide scope to further develop your technical expertise while working on high-quality and often complex matters.

The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 4 years' PQE and a strong background in Private Client work. You will have sound technical knowledge together with excellent client care and communication skills.
The successful candidate will be confident managing their own caseload and dealing directly with clients, with the ability to provide clear and commercially aware advice on often sensitive and complex matters. You will be organised, detail-focused, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
