Private Client Solicitor | Northampton
About the job:
Our client is a well-established practice in Northampton with a strong partner-led Private Client practice. They are passionate about delivering personal, down-to-earth legal advice on wills, executries, and estate planning, helping clients make informed decisions with confidence. They are seeking a Solicitor (2-6PQE) to join the team in Northampton.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of a supportive and experienced Private Client team, you'll have the opportunity to develop your expertise while managing a varied caseload. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own caseload of private client matters, including wills, powers of attorney, and executries.
- Supporting senior solicitors with more complex estate planning and estate administration work, gaining valuable hands-on experience.
- Preparing legal documents and providing clear, practical advice tailored to each client's individual circumstances.
- Building trusted relationships with clients by delivering an approachable, professional, and empathetic service.
- Contributing to business development activities and helping to strengthen the firm's presence within the local community.

About You:
We're keen to hear from a qualified solicitor who has a genuine interest in developing a career in Private Client law. You'll also bring:
- England & Wales Qualified Solicitor, or Chartered Legal Executive.
- Previous experience in Private Client work, whether gained during your traineeship or in a post-qualified role.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a strong focus on client care.
- A collaborative mindset, alongside the confidence to work independently when required.
