Private Client Solicitor | 4+ PQE | Haywards Heath, West Sussex

Picture yourself at a firm where the clients aren't names on a file, they're families you've known for years. Where your work genuinely helps people navigate wills, inheritance, and legacy during some of the most significant moments of their lives. Where you're not just processing transactions; you're building relationships that last decades.

A respected regional law firm with offices across the South East and London has grown steadily while genuinely keeping its people-first approach. They're now looking for a Private Client Solicitor to join their established Haywards Heath team, not because they're replacing someone, but because they're expanding and want to strengthen what already works.

This is the kind of place where people actually stay. Where career progression is real because the firm invests in developing its lawyers. And where your contribution genuinely matters.

The Opportunity

You'll manage a varied, personally meaningful caseload:

  • Wills and estate planning for families and business owners
  • Probate and estate administration from start to finish
  • Trusts and tax planning with genuine complexity and commercial awareness
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney preparation and advice
  • Work with clients across the firm's deep community roots

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
