The Role

Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Managing a varied portfolio of trust administration and advisory work
- Advising clients on the creation, structuring, and ongoing administration of UK trusts
- Preparing trust deeds, letters of wishes and other related legal documentation
- Advising on the taxation of trusts, including Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax
- Preparing and overseeing annual trust accounts and tax returns
- Liaising with tax advisers, accountants and other professional specialists to deliver comprehensive, joined-up advice
- Assisting with broader private client and lifetime planning matters
- Advising trustees and beneficiaries on complex issues arising in connection with trusts
About You
The firm is looking for an experienced professional with a strong interest in trusts, taxation and private client work.
You Should Ideally Have
- Experience working as a Solicitor, Legal Executive, Trust Adviser or in an equivalent professional capacity
- Around 2–4 years' PQE, although applications from more experienced candidates and those who are qualified by experience are also welcomed
- Solid experience in trust administration and trust taxation
- A private client background with experience involving trusts and wealth planning
- The confidence and ability to manage your own caseload
- Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail
- Strong client care skills, particularly when working with high-net-worth individuals
