Private Client Solicitor – Middlesbrough / Redcar – Competitive Salary + Bonus
Are you an experienced Private Client Solicitor looking for a role where you can take ownership of your work, build long-term client relationships and have genuine scope to develop your career? We’re looking for a solicitor with at least 3 years’ PQE to join a growing Private Client team in Middlesbrough or Redcar. You’ll join an established department with a loyal client base and a varied caseload, offering plenty of opportunity to develop your expertise and make your mark.
What you’ll be doing:
• Managing your own varied caseload across wills, probate, powers of attorney, trusts and Court of Protection applications • Advising clients on a range of private client matters, providing clear, practical and commercially aware advice • Building strong, trusted relationships with clients and delivering a consistently high standard of client care • Working with high-net-worth individuals, farming clients and estate planning matters, where your experience allows • Having the opportunity to develop a mixed contentious and non-contentious probate caseload if you have the relevant experience and are interested in doing so • Contributing to the continued growth of the department through business development and networking activities • Working collaboratively with colleagues while taking responsibility for your own files and workload

Requirements
What we’re looking for: • A qualified Private Client Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE • Solid experience managing your own caseload across a broad range of private client matters • Strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, trusts, powers of attorney and Court of Protection work • STEP Diploma would be advantageous • Experience with HNW clients, estate planning or agricultural/farming clients would be desirable • Strong interpersonal and client care skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships • Self-motivated, organised and confident working both independently and as part of a team • Commercially minded and willing to get involved in business development
