Private Client Solicitor – 4+ PQE

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm

An exciting opportunity is available for a Private Client Solicitor with 4+ PQE to join an established and supportive legal team in Bexleyheath / Petts Wood. Working Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with hybrid working available, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a varied caseload while developing strong, long-term client relationships.
You will work across Wills, Probate and Estate Planning, advising clients on a range of Private Client matters and managing files from initial instruction through to completion. The role also provides an opportunity to contribute to business development and play an active part in the continued growth of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied Private Client caseload, including Wills, Probate and Estate Planning.
- Advise clients on Wills, Trusts, Probate and related matters.
- Handle probate applications and estate administration.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and deliver excellent client care.
- Keep up to date with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Manage workloads effectively and ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive file records.
- Ensure billing is completed efficiently and work towards agreed targets.
- Support business development, networking and marketing initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues while taking responsibility for your own caseload.

About You
The ideal candidate will be a 4+ PQE Private Client Solicitor with strong technical knowledge and experience across Wills, Probate and Estate Planning.
You should be confident managing your own busy caseload and dealing directly with clients. Excellent organisation, communication and attention to detail are essential, together with a proactive and commercially aware approach.
Experience of business development and a proven ability to work towards billing or performance targets would be advantageous. Most importantly, you will be committed to delivering a high standard of client service and working effectively as part of a team.
