Private Client Solicitor

Location: Bromley - hybrid
Salary: £65-75,000
Experience: 3PQE+

OVERVIEW

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor to join a highly regarded Tier 2 Legal 500 Private Client team.

This is an opportunity to join one of the largest and most established Private Client teams in the South East, acting for a broad client base including high net worth individuals, families, business owners and vulnerable clients. The team is recognised for its technical expertise and long-standing client relationships, advising across all areas of private wealth, succession planning and estate administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advise clients on Wills, estate planning, inheritance tax planning and succession matters.
  • Handle probate and estate administration, including taxable and more complex estates.
  • Draft and advise on trusts, trust administration and related tax considerations.
  • Prepare and register Lasting Powers of Attorney and advise on deputyship and Court of Protection matters where required.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, professional referrers and intermediaries.
  • Work closely with colleagues across departments to deliver a seamless service to private wealth clients.
  • Participate in networking and business development initiatives to support the continued growth of the department.

ABOUT YOU

  • Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE in Private Client.
  • Strong experience advising on Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, LPAs and Trusts.
  • Experience dealing with inheritance tax and estate planning matters.
  • Excellent client care and communication skills with a personable and professional approach.
  • An interest in developing client relationships and contributing to business development.
  • STEP qualification or working towards STEP would be advantageous but is not essential.
