About the Role

As a Private Client Solicitor, you'll join a respected and experienced team with a long-standing reputation for delivering exceptional client service. You'll manage a varied caseload of Private Client matters, providing practical, sensitive advice to individuals and families while building lasting client relationships. Working collaboratively with colleagues and professional contacts, you'll play an important role in the continued growth and success of the department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and progressive firm. This role offers hybrid working arrangements following the successful completion of a probationary period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of Private Client matters from instruction to completion
  • Advising clients on Wills, trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Deputyship applications
  • Administering estates and trusts
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, accountants, independent financial advisers, and other professional contacts
  • Delivering clear, practical advice tailored to clients' individual circumstances
  • Supporting the development of new business through networking and relationship building
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional client service
  • Maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance
  • Achieving agreed financial and performance targets

About you

You’ll have:

  • At least 6 years' PQE (or equivalent) in Private Client law
  • Strong technical knowledge across Wills, Probate, Trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Excellent client care and relationship management skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience managing your own caseload independently
