About The Role
A Legal 500-ranked firm seeks a Private Client Solicitor with 8+ years' PQE for its Bedfordshire office. This full-time, hybrid position suits a senior lawyer ready to handle a varied caseload covering wills, probate, trusts and estate planning, while managing substantial client contact. The successful candidate will help expand the department's client base and work towards Partnership. Strong technical knowledge, business development ability and proven case management skills are essential. Salary is £60,000 to £75,000 depending on experience. This role offers genuine progression within a growing team.
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a highly regarded and growing team in Bedfordshire. You will take responsibility for a varied caseload of private client matters, working closely with clients and their families to provide clear, practical, and tailored legal advice. The role will offer significant client contact and the opportunity to take ownership of matters from instruction through to completion. You will advise across a broad range of private client matters, which may include wills, probate and estate administration, trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Inheritance Tax and estate planning.
As a senior member of the team, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and development of the department, build, and strengthen client relationships and develop your own client following. The role would particularly suit an ambitious Solicitor who is keen to take on greater responsibility and has a genuine desire to progress towards Partnership.

The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 8 years' PQE and a strong background in Private Client law. You will have excellent technical knowledge and experience managing a varied caseload, together with the confidence to deal directly with clients and take ownership of complex matters.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and professional contacts. You will be proactive in developing your own profile and client base and keen to contribute to business development initiatives.
