About The Role
This full-time Private Client Solicitor position in Devon suits a lawyer with three or more years' PQE. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload covering wills, estate planning, probate administration, trusts, and matters involving elderly or vulnerable clients. Duties extend to Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications. Building trusted relationships with individuals and families is central, alongside delivering practical, considered advice during significant life events. Strong technical knowledge, empathy, and clear communication are essential. The salary ranges from £65,000 to £75,000 per annum, dependent on experience. This permanent role offers genuine scope to develop expertise within a supportive legal setting.

The Role

- Wills and wider estate planning
- Estate and probate administration
- Trusts and trust-related matters
- Advising elderly and vulnerable clients
- Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications and related work
Skills Required
Applications are sought from Private Client Solicitors or Legal Executives with a minimum of 3 Years PQE.
- STEP membership is highly desirable
- Strong technical knowledge with a client-focused approach
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to manage your own caseload confidently
