Private Client Solicitor Bristol 2:4 Years PQE+ Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits + Hybrid Working

A leading national law firm is seeking a Trust Specialist, Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Associate to join its highly regarded Private Client team in Bristol.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a specialist Tax and Trusts team, advising high net worth individuals, trustees, and beneficiaries on a broad range of complex trust, tax, and wealth protection matters. The team has an outstanding reputation and handles sophisticated work for a diverse client base.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload while working alongside experienced trust practitioners, tax advisers, and private client specialists. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role offering exposure to high-quality work and excellent opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a diverse caseload of trust administration and advisory matters.
  • Advising on the creation, structuring, and ongoing administration of UK trusts.
  • Drafting trust deeds, letters of wishes, and associated legal documentation.
  • Providing advice on trust taxation, including Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, and Inheritance Tax.
  • Preparing and overseeing annual trust accounts and tax returns.
  • Working closely with tax advisers, accountants, and other specialists to provide holistic advice.
  • Supporting wider private client and lifetime planning matters.
  • Advising trustees and beneficiaries on complex trust-related issues.

About You

To be considered, you should have:

  • Experience as a Solicitor, Legal Executive, Trust Advisor, or equivalent professional.
  • Ideally 2-4 years PQE, although applications from more experienced candidates and those qualified by experience are welcomed.
  • Strong trust administration and trust taxation experience.
  • A background in private client work involving trusts and wealth planning.
  • The ability to manage your own caseload effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong client care skills with experience working with high net worth individuals.
