About The Role

A Private Client Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE is sought by a reputable firm in the West Midlands. This full-time position offers a salary between £55,000 and £65,000, dependent on experience. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload covering wills, lasting powers of attorney, trusts, deputyship, and broader capacity matters.

Responsibilities include:

In addition to this, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing your own caseload
  • Working with the team to develop the department
  • Networking and business development for workflows
  • Reviewing and managing WIP and client financing in relation to ongoing matters
  • Keeping files well organized and properly updated in accordance with the firm’s policies
  • Using DPS for all emails, letters, reports, and correspondence
  • Utilizing PC skills as necessary to carry out the job tasks
  • Recording phone calls, enquiries, and requests, and handling them when appropriate

The Candidate

The job will require someone who has a proven record of accomplishment in organizing their own personal workload and responsibilities.

You should also be able to determine priorities and consistently meet deadlines.

The successful candidate should have at least 2 years of legal experience, along with experience of using multiple systems, collating and analyzing data as well as exemplary administration skills.
