Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive | Bedford MK40 1HA | Full Time, Hybrid Working (3 days office / 2 days home) | £45,000 - £62,000 per annum

Our client is a family-run firm based in Bedford, established in 1975. The firm has a strong and long-standing Private Client department specialising in Wills, Probate, LPAs, Trusts, and Estate Planning. The business is built on delivering a personal, client-focused service where individuals are treated with care and respect.

The Role

You will join the Private Client team during a period of organic growth and take on a varied and engaging caseload. The role covers the full spectrum of private client work, including wills, probate, LPAs, trusts, tax planning, and estate administration. You will manage both new and existing client matters and provide expert legal advice during sensitive life events.

Key responsibilities:

  • Fee earning across all private client matters
  • Managing wills, probate, LPAs, trusts, and estate planning cases
  • Handling new and existing client instructions
  • Running your own caseload independently
  • Communicating with clients and professionals throughout case progression
  • Providing clear and empathetic legal advice

Requirements

Essential

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive
  • Minimum 2+ years PQE
  • Proven fee-earning experience
  • Ability to manage a full caseload independently
  • Strong client communication skills
