Partner - Private Client
Top 200 Firm - Central London - Hybrid Working - Up to £150,000
A leading Top 100 UK law firm is looking to appoint a Private Client Partner to join its established and growing team in Central London.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced private client lawyer who has a proven track record of advising HNW and UHNW individuals and families, particularly those with complex UK and international affairs.
The team handles a broad range of sophisticated private client work, including UK and international estate planning, trusts, succession planning, and estate administration. Much of the work involves clients with international connections, overseas assets, and complex family structures.
The Role
As a Partner, you will take a leading role within the private client team, managing and developing client relationships while continuing to handle high-quality technical work.
The work will include:
- Advising HNW and UHNW individuals and families
- UK and international estate and succession planning
- Wills and trusts
- Estate administration and probate
- Inheritance tax and capital gains tax planning
- Trust creation, restructuring, and administration
- Cross-border and international private client matters
- Advising clients with overseas assets and international family structures
- Working closely with accountants, financial advisers, and other professional advisers
- Developing existing relationships and winning new business

About You
We are looking for a senior private client lawyer who is already operating at Partner level, or a strong Senior Associate/Legal Director ready to make the move into partnership.
You will ideally have:
- 8+ years' PQE, although experience and track record are more important than a specific PQE
- A strong background in private client
- Significant experience advising HNW/UHNW clients
- Experience with international and cross-border private client work
- A strong technical grounding in wills, trusts, estate planning, and probate
- An established network of professional and/or client contacts
- A proven ability to develop relationships and generate work
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- A commercial approach and genuine interest in growing a practice
