About The Role
TSR Legal is working with a well-established regional law firm that is looking to appoint a Private Client Solicitor with approximately two to three years’ PQE.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor who has developed a solid foundation in Private Client work and is now looking to broaden their technical experience within a supportive and established department.
The role will provide exposure to a broad range of Private Client matters, with support available from experienced senior lawyers. The firm is able to offer flexibility around working arrangements for the right candidate.

The firm has a strong regional presence and advises individuals, families, business owners, and agricultural clients across South Wales and the surrounding areas.
The Private Client department handles a broad range of matters, including Wills, Probate, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection work, tax planning, and complex estate administration.
The firm offers a supportive working environment where junior and mid-level Solicitors are encouraged to develop their technical knowledge, take ownership of their caseload, and build long-term client relationships.

The Role Will Involve
- Managing a varied Private Client caseload
- Drafting straightforward and complex Wills
- Handling Probate and estate administration matters
- Preparing applications for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration
- Advising executors, administrators, and beneficiaries
- Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Advising on inheritance tax and available reliefs
- Assisting with Trust creation and administration
- Handling lifetime planning and asset protection matters
- Supporting Court of Protection and deputyship work
- Liaising with accountants, financial advisers, and other professional contacts
- Developing strong relationships with clients and referrers
- Participating in networking and business development activities
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will
- Be a qualified Solicitor with approximately two to three years’ PQE
- Have experience managing or assisting with a varied Private Client caseload
- Have a good understanding of Wills, Probate, and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Ideally have some exposure to Trusts, tax planning, or Court of Protection matters
- Be able to manage files independently while recognising when senior support is required
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Provide an empathetic, professional, and approachable service to clients
- Be organised and able to manage competing deadlines
- Have a genuine interest in developing your Private Client expertise
