Role Description
This is a full-time, Private Client Solicitor role based primarily at our Northwich office. The Solicitor will advise individuals on wills, estate planning, trusts, probate administration, and protection of vulnerable clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting clients, taking instructions, drafting correspondence and legal documents, managing files, and liaising with colleagues. The solicitor will also contribute to business development activities, including maintaining relationships with referrers and supporting the firm’s reputation in the local area. You will also play a vital role in fostering client relationships and contributing to the growth of the firm's private client practice.

Qualifications
- Candidates should be a qualified solicitor with around 3 years' PQE
- Comfortable managing a varied caseload from instruction to completion, including Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection, and Inheritance Tax planning
- A strong understanding of Business and Farm succession planning would be beneficial
- STEP qualification ideal but not essential
- Strong drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple files effectively
- Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in accessible language and build trust over time
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team, demonstrate sound judgment, and uphold high ethical standards
- Full driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential to visit clients
