Private Client Solicitor | 3+ PQE | Sevenoaks, Kent
An established Sevenoaks practice with deep roots, a loyal client base, and a substantial Private Client Department is looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join and help develop the practice. You've got solid foundations. You want to work somewhere that genuinely invests in your development. Somewhere with real client relationships and genuine sophistication. The Opportunity
You'll join a well-established Private Client team handling sophisticated matters within a practice that's genuinely investing in its offering:
- Manage a varied caseload of quality private client work independently
- Work alongside experienced private client lawyers and the department head
- Handle probate, wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, tax planning for HNW clients
- Build genuine client relationships with families and business owners
- Contribute to the department's continued growth and development
- Clear progression pathway with genuine partnership potential

The Work
You'll handle the full range of sophisticated Private Client matters:
- Probate: estate administration, contentious probate, complex estates
- Wills: estate planning, Advance Directives, tax-efficient structuring
- Lasting Powers of Attorney: preparation, advice, registration
- Tax planning and trust work for HNW individuals and families
- Client relationships built on trust, expertise, and genuine care
The work is substantial, varied, and built on a client base that's been loyal for generations.
About You
- Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3+ years PQE
- Solid technical grounding across probate, wills, LPAs, and probate
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Collaborative mindset with genuine interest in practice development
- Ambitious about your career progression
- Looking for a firm that will genuinely invest in your development
