Private Client Solicitor | Birmingham | 3+ PQE
Join a highly regarded Birmingham law firm and take the next step in your Private Client career. Our client is a well-established and respected law firm with a proud history. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, tailored legal advice, the firm is looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its growing team in Birmingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE to take ownership of a varied private client caseload, build strong and lasting client relationships, and play an active role in the continued growth of the department.
The Role
Working closely with the Head of Private Client Services, you will manage a diverse portfolio of private client matters, providing commercially focused and technically excellent advice to individuals, families and other high-net-worth clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied portfolio of private client matters and delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Advising on tax planning, estate administration, and wealth management.
- Developing trusted, long-term relationships with clients through a personalised and strategic approach.
- Handling complex legal issues and identifying practical, effective solutions.
- Contributing to business development and marketing initiatives alongside colleagues across the firm.
- Keeping up to date with changes in legislation, regulation, and best practice within private client law.
- Leading client education sessions, workshops, and presentations on areas such as estate planning and wealth management.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues while confidently managing your own caseload and priorities.

About You
We’re looking for an accomplished Private Client Solicitor who combines strong technical expertise with a genuinely client-focused approach. You will ideally have:
- At least 3 years’ PQE within private client law.
- Proven experience in tax planning and estate administration.
- Excellent client management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence leading client meetings, presentations, and discussions.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach and the ability to work independently.
- A genuine interest in developing your career and contributing to the wider growth of a successful private client team.
