About The Role

A Private Client Solicitor is sought by a leading Bristol firm to join its Tax, Trusts & Family team, with hybrid working available. This full-time role offers a salary between £75,000 and £105,000, dependent on experience, and suits a solicitor with at least four years’ PQE. The post involves advising high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and international families on complex domestic and cross-border succession matters. The Role

You will advise an impressive and varied client base, including high and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, international families, family offices, landed estates and professional wealth advisers.

Your work will focus on helping clients protect and manage their wealth across generations, often involving complex family structures and international considerations.

You will be responsible for:

  • International tax and succession planning
  • UK residence and domicile-related advice
  • Trust establishment, administration and taxation
  • Wills and succession arrangements
  • Advising on the interaction between UK and international tax regimes

Skills Required

  • Applications are sought from Private Client Solicitors with a minimum of 4 Years PQE
  • Strong technical knowledge across private client work
  • Experience advising high-net-worth clients and their associated structures
  • An interest in international and cross-border matters
  • Excellent communication and relationship-management skills
  • The ability to handle complex and varied workloads with confidence
  • A proactive, commercially aware approach
  • The ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of your matters
  • Experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues
  • STEP qualification would be advantageous
