Private Client Solicitor

Swansea | NQ-5 PQE | Full-time or Part-time | Hybrid Working

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor to join a highly regarded regional law firm in Swansea, as part of a growing team of seven Private Client specialists. This is a firm that is genuinely investing in its Private Client offering, with significant investment being made into the department, its people and its future growth. If you're looking for somewhere you can build a long-term career rather than simply move into another role, this could be an excellent opportunity.

The Opportunity

  • You'll join an established and supportive Private Client team handling a varied caseload and working alongside experienced colleagues.
  • The firm has a real focus on career progression and professional development, with clear opportunities to take on greater responsibility as your experience develops.
  • The team has a great atmosphere, with a collaborative and friendly culture where people genuinely enjoy working together.
  • You'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced practitioners while developing your own client base and expertise.
  • The role would suit a newly qualified solicitor through to around 5 years' PQE, although solicitors at all levels are encouraged to apply where there is a strong Private Client background.
  • Part-time applications will also be considered.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
