An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Tax Associate Director to join a leading Belfast-based professional services firm in a highly advisory-focused role.

You will take a leading role in delivering bespoke tax advice, managing complex planning projects and developing long-term client relationships, while working closely with senior colleagues and supporting the continued growth of the private client tax offering.

About You

  • CTA qualified with significant Private Client Tax experience
  • Strong track record in private client tax advisory
  • Experience advising HNW individuals, families and internationally connected clients
  • Strong technical knowledge across private client tax planning and structuring
  • Proven ability to manage complex advisory assignments
  • Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercially minded with excellent communication skills
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members
  • Ambitious and confident operating at a senior level

About Your New Role

Always:

  • Lead the delivery of bespoke private client tax advisory services
  • Advise HNW individuals, families and international clients across the UK and Ireland
  • Lead complex tax planning, wealth structuring and succession planning projects
  • Build and maintain trusted senior client relationships
  • Provide clear, practical and commercially focused tax advice
  • Work closely with Partners and Directors on complex advisory matters

  • Manage advisory assignments from initial planning through to completion
  • Identify tax planning opportunities and develop tailored solutions
  • Liaise with clients and other professional advisers
  • Review and oversee work completed by junior team members
  • Support the development and growth of the wider private client tax team

Occasionally:

  • Lead business development initiatives and client proposals
  • Attend networking and client events
  • Contribute to thought leadership and technical updates
  • Mentor and develop members of the wider tax team
  • Identify opportunities to develop existing client relationships

Never:

  • Experiencing a lack of support, as you'll be part of a collaborative and encouraging team
  • Completing tasks with a blindfold on
