About the Company
My client, a leading UK law firm, is seeking a Tax Associate to join its Private Wealth team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a personal tax professional looking to take the next step in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
About the Role
You will be responsible for preparing personal tax returns for high-net-worth clients and partners, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations, and supporting tax payment processes. The role involves working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, with oversight from senior colleagues. You will also provide ad hoc advice on personal tax matters throughout the year.

Responsibilities
- Preparing personal tax returns for high-net-worth clients and partners
- Ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations
- Supporting tax payment processes
- Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Providing ad hoc advice on personal tax matters throughout the year
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in personal tax
- ATT qualified
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience preparing self-assessment tax returns (ideally for partners or similar profiles)

Preferred Skills
- Exposure to trusts and inheritance tax
- Familiarity with tax software (e.g. CCH)
Pay range and compensation package
£35,000pa - £39,000pa (DOE)
Hybrid model
Typically 3 days in-office, 2 from home. Flexible working options available, including part-time arrangements.
