About the Role

TPF Recruitment is delighted to be representing a prestigious firm of Chartered Tax Advisors based in Basingstoke. Renowned for their expertise in providing tailored tax solutions, the firm specializes in advising high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses on complex tax matters, both domestically and internationally. They pride themselves on their personalized approach and commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Manager and Offshore Trust Specialist to join our client’s dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and advising on all aspects of private client tax and offshore trust matters. This is a unique opportunity for a driven professional to advance their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

This role is suitable for any Private Client or Personal Tax Seniors, Assistant Managers or Managers who have experience working with offshore trusts and are keen to develop their career with a specialist firm of Chartered Tax Advisors based in Basingstoke.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of private clients, providing comprehensive tax advice and planning services.
  • Specialize in offshore trust structuring, compliance, and advisory services.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on complex tax issues.
  • Ensure compliance with UK tax legislation and relevant offshore jurisdictions.
  • Lead and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  • Work closely with other departments within the firm to deliver integrated services to clients.
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and ensure clients are informed of any impacts on their tax position.
  • Assist in business development activities, including networking and identifying opportunities for new client engagements.

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA/CTA/ATT qualified or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in private client tax, with a focus on offshore trusts.
  • Proven track record of managing a diverse client portfolio.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK tax legislation and offshore trust structures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive approach with a commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Benefits

  • Salary circa £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualification status. For candidates at different stages in their careers, this is negotiable provided you possess relevant experience.
