Are you an experienced Private Client Tax professional looking to join a firm where you can make a genuine impact, build strong client relationships and play a key role in the growth of a successful tax team?

A highly regarded and growing accountancy practice is seeking a Private Client Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join their established tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious tax professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with trusted client advisory work.

The Role

As a Private Client Tax Manager, you'll take responsibility for delivering a first-class service to a varied client portfolio, ensuring compliance obligations are met while identifying valuable tax planning opportunities. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of private clients with complex tax affairs.
  • Reviewing personal tax returns and ensuring compliance deadlines are met.
  • Providing advice on a range of personal tax matters, including Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and Trusts.
  • Building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities and wider advisory services.
  • Supporting business development activities, including proposals, fee quotations and client presentations.
  • Reviewing work completed by junior team members and providing coaching and technical guidance.
  • Managing workflow across your portfolio to ensure high levels of client service and efficiency.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across other service lines to deliver joined-up advice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
