Private Client Tax Manager – Scotland | Hybrid | Up to £80,000 + Benefits

Ready for a Private Client Tax role where your experience is genuinely valued?

I’m working with a growing professional services firm that is looking to strengthen its Private Client Tax team across Scotland. They’re looking for experienced Tax Managers who want to take ownership of a strong client portfolio, work with interesting individuals and families, and continue building their career within a supportive and forward-thinking tax function. This isn’t just about managing compliance. You’ll become a trusted adviser to your clients, working across a broad range of Private Client Tax matters while developing long-term relationships and providing practical, commercially focused advice.

You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own portfolio, work closely with senior tax professionals and support junior members of the team. There’s also scope to get involved in wider projects, improve processes and contribute to the continued growth of the Private Client Tax offering.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
