Private Client Tax Manager - HNW & UHNW - London & Home Counties
If you're a Private Client Tax Manager who has reached the point where "just doing the compliance" isn't enough, this could be worth a conversation.
I'm currently working with a number of established and growing accountancy firms across London and the Home Counties who are looking for strong Private Client Tax Managers to join their teams.
These are roles for someone who wants real ownership, interesting clients and proper advisory exposure.
You could be working with:
- HNW & UHNW individuals, families and entrepreneurs
- Owner-managed businesses and family groups
- Trusts, estates and succession planning
- IHT, CGT and wider personal tax planning
- Residence, domicile and international tax matters
- Complex/offshore structures
- Personal tax compliance and advisory
- HMRC enquiries and investigations
- Direct client relationships and regular client meetings

What I'm looking for
The ideal person will be:
- CTA qualified or working towards CTA/ACA/ACCA
- Currently operating at Manager or strong Assistant Manager/Senior Manager level
- From a UK accountancy practice background
- Experienced across HNW Private Client Tax
- Comfortable with both compliance AND advisory
- Confident managing their own portfolio
- Strong technically across areas such as IHT, CGT and trusts
- Comfortable dealing directly with clients
- Commercially minded and interested in developing relationships
- Keen to progress and take on more responsibility
