Description
- Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients and ensuring compliance with HMRC and in-house deadlines
- Preparing and processing tax returns and P11Ds from information provided
- Calculation and advice of liabilities, together with due dates of payment to client
- Assisting with client queries and providing ad hoc advice where requested
- Billing personal portfolio clients after work completed
- Dealing with correspondence, telephone calls and arranging and attending meetings with clients and potential clients
- Assisting partners and staff members with technical queries
- Providing assistance to junior members of the team where appropriate
- Assisting in the preparation of technical reports in relation to income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax
- Dealing with HMRC correspondence, telephone calls and enquiries
- General support to the tax team as required

Profile
A Successful Private Client Tax Senior Should Have

- A strong foundation in private client tax, with relevant professional qualifications (ATT etc.)
- Experience working within an accountancy practice setting.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- The ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly and effectively to clients.
- Experience of preparing accounts is desirable.
Job Offer
