The opportunity
As a Senior at Azets, you will have the ability and motivation needed to:
- Begin to take ownership of your own portfolio of clients
- Support partners in delivering a wide range of private client advisory projects
- Begin to develop enduring client relationships
Day to day duties
- Responsible for a number of client relationships, including non-residents, non-domiciled individuals, high net worth individuals and trusts, supporting them on a variety of compliance matters
- Principal point of contact for clients, working closely with them to understand developments in their personal tax affairs, ensuring they are up to date with their compliance obligations and legislative changes, helping them assess the impact for them and keeping abreast of new opportunities
- Support partners and directors in delivering a broad range of private client advisory projects, including succession planning, inheritance tax planning, trusts, family investment structures and residency matters.
- Identify tax planning opportunities and assist clients in understanding the impact of legislative and regulatory developments on their affairs.
- Ensure clients are up to date with their compliance obligations and legislative changes, helping them assess the impact for them and keeping abreast of new opportunities including review tax returns and computations.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across tax and wider service lines to provide holistic advice to clients.
- Opportunities for business development activities, including identifying opportunities within the existing client base and supporting the growth of the private client practice.
- Responsible for complying with all internal risk management procedures

What are we looking for?

CTA qualified, ATT qualified and/or qualified by experience with at least 5 years' relevant private client tax experience. Previous Personal/Private Client/Mixed Tax experience in a similar role within a practice environment is essential. A proactive approach with a genuine interest in developing a career in private client advisory services.
