Private Client Tax Manager / Senior Manager – Salisbury
£55,000 – £80,000 DOE | Hybrid Working | Complex Private Client Advisory
In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of high-value private clients while taking a leading role across complex tax compliance, planning and advisory projects.

We're working with a leading Salisbury accountancy practice that's looking to strengthen its Private Client Tax team at Manager / Senior Manager level. This is a particularly interesting opportunity if you enjoy technically challenging private client work. The portfolio includes HNWIs, landed estates, titled families, agricultural and rural businesses, entrepreneurs, partnerships and trusts.

The Role
You'll have plenty of autonomy, with responsibilities including:
- Managing a portfolio of clients with complex personal tax affairs
- Reviewing compliance work and overseeing junior team members
- Leading and supporting tax planning and advisory projects
- Advising around CGT, IHT, trusts and succession planning
- Working with Partners and Directors on more complex assignments
- Liaising with other specialist teams to provide joined-up client advice
- Developing strong relationships with clients
- Coaching and developing junior members of the tax team
- Identifying opportunities to provide additional services to clients

About You
You'll have strong Private Client Tax experience gained within an accountancy practice or professional services firm, including exposure to both complex compliance and advisory work.
CTA and/or ACA qualification would be preferred, particularly at Senior Manager level, alongside strong client management and communication skills.
