Senior Role in Private Client Tax

This is an opportunity to take on a senior role within Private Client Tax, working with a broad portfolio of clients including individuals, trustees, executors and family offices.

The role combines technical advisory work, client relationship leadership and team development, with scope to further build your profile internally.

Experience And Capabilities

  • Experience advising private clients, trustees, executors and family offices on tax matters
  • Strong technical knowledge across private client tax, trusts and estates
  • Experience managing a client portfolio, including delegation, workflow oversight and billing
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop opportunities
  • Confidence coaching, reviewing and supporting junior team members
  • Strong client service and relationship management skills
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACA, CTA)
  • Exposure to estates administration is beneficial

Role responsibilities

Client advisory and relationship management

  • Providing high-quality tax advice to private clients, trustees, executors and family offices
  • Acting as the primary contact for your portfolio, building trusted and long-term relationships

  • Managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing delivery, billing and work in progress
  • Planning, delegating and reviewing work to ensure quality and deadlines are met

  • Coaching and developing junior team members
  • Contributing to mentoring and progression pathways within the team
