Your Opportunity
Responsible for oversight, financial reporting, and operational control of private credit and crypto-affiliated funds, along with hedge funds from Cayman and Delaware. Your role will include:
Core Responsibilities (Private Credit & Crypto Private Funds)
- Perform operational oversight and controls over funds administered by a third-party provider, including:
- Review of quarterly accounting and NAV (Net Asset Value) reports
- Expense control & payment management (e.g., management fees, carried interest)
- Investor statements for calls and distributions
- Coordination with administrator & audit teams
- Act as the primary contact for the fund management team, supporting:
- Transactional processes
- Client commitments
- Board resolutions
- Compliance with regulatory obligations and JHI policies.

Core Responsibilities (Hedge Funds)
- Financial reporting & oversight for the Cayman and Delaware hedge fund range.
- Coordinate financial statements & audits with administrator and audit teams.
- Support the wider fund administration team for alternative funds at JHI.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications must include:
- Critical experience in private credit operations (a key skills gap at JHI).
- Fund accounting & financial reporting expertise (extensive background required).
- Strong written & verbal communication to build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to collaborate, work independently, and assume responsibility.
- F familiarity with Excel & advanced Excel applications.
- Willingness to harness AI tools like Microsoft Copilot for workflow efficiency.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications (Optional)
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certification
- Experience overseeing third-party administrators

- Must understand and adhere to:
- Regulatory obligations of the firm
- JHI policies for the regulated entity and role-specific requirements
- Investment Advisory Code of Ethics, including:
- Disclosure of personal securities activities
- Past political contributions & activity (impact eligibility)
- Statistically background checks as part of hiring decisions
