We are seeking an experienced Private Equity Director
To join a London-based investment team with a generalist mandate, the team have historically invested in asset-backed operating companies but are now looking at more asset light transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Originate and lead investments across a variety of sectors within the mid-market space (team are currently exploring transactions within Healthcare, Software, Defence, etc)
- Evaluate opportunities across the UK and wider European markets.
- Lead deal execution, including financial analysis, due diligence and negotiations.
- Build relationships with management teams, advisers and intermediaries.
- Work closely with portfolio companies to drive growth and value creation.
- Mentor junior members of the investment team.

Ideal profile
- 8–12+ years of private equity, investment banking or related investing experience.
- Strong track record of sourcing and executing transactions.
- Genuine interest and experience in UK/European mid-market PE
- Excellent commercial judgement, analytical skills and communication abilities.
- Comfortable operating across sectors and geographies at senior level.
