Company Description
A private credit fund managing more than $20bn in assets under management is hiring an FP&A Graduate Analyst to join its finance and investment support function. The role covers financial planning and analysis, fund modelling, valuations, forecasting, performance analysis, and project work.
The position is suited to a graduate with a strong academic background in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, or another quantitative discipline who is analytical and interested in building a career in private credit and alternative investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and longer-term business plans.
- Build and maintain financial models covering funds, investment performance, and the wider business.
- Assist with valuation and performance analysis of private credit investments and portfolios.
- Analyse actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key drivers of variances.
- Support regular management reporting and preparation of financial information for senior stakeholders.
- Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of different business and market assumptions.
- Assist with fund-level modelling, including cash flows, investment returns, management fees, and other key financial metrics.
- Analyse business and fund performance trends and communicate findings to senior team members.
- Support the development and monitoring of key performance indicators across the organisation.

Skills & Experience
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
- Suitable for recent graduates or candidates with limited professional experience.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information and identify key trends.
- Proficient in Excel; comfortable working with large datasets and financial models.
- Good understanding of financial statements, corporate finance, and fundamental financial concepts.
- Interest in private credit, private markets, asset management, and alternative investments.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial information.
- Structured approach to unfamiliar analytical problems.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial analysis concisely.
- Proactive attitude with willingness to take ownership of work and develop technical skills.
