Investment Associate - Private Equity Portfolio Management

Evergreen / Semi-Liquid Funds

Large Cap PE Fund – London

A leading global private markets manager with a long track record in private equity, secondaries, credit, and infrastructure, managing more than $200bn USD across a diversified platform and global team, is hiring an Investment Associate for its private equity semi-liquid portfolio management team.

This role will support portfolio management, strategy, investment analysis, cash flow modelling and investment committee materials for its open-ended semi-liquid fund structures.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and updating cash flow and portfolio construction models to monitor performance, liquidity and operational metrics
  • Preparing investment committee materials including portfolio composition analysis, deal allocation work and peer comparisons
  • Producing periodic portfolio performance reports covering monitoring, risk, allocation and market insights
  • Supporting projects linked to fund launches, investment activity and investor due diligence
  • Working closely with internal teams across treasury, reporting, tax, compliance and investor relations to support portfolio management activities
  • Contributing to ad hoc strategic initiatives and policy related work as required

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in portfolio management, investment strategy or financial analysis
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, business or accounting
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
  • Understanding of private equity performance metrics, valuations and operational analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver to tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail, proactive mindset and strong problem solving skills
  • Collaborative team player with strong organisational ability and desire to learn
