The Team
The highly ranked Private Equity team sits within the firm’s broader Private Capital platform and is well regarded for its ability to handle complex, cross-border transactions with particular strength in regulated and sector-intensive industries.
The team advises a global client base including private equity sponsors, institutional funds, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, co-investors, family offices and portfolio companies. Work is diverse and often high-value, spanning sectors such as financial services, insurance, energy and infrastructure, TMT, healthcare, life sciences and education.
Led by a Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked partner, the team has been built around a group of specialist lawyers with deep sector expertise. It is a technically strong yet highly collegiate environment, with a clear emphasis on collaboration, support and shared success at all levels.
The Role
This is a unique opportunity for a Private Equity solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE to join a growing, global team, with excellent mentoring and support as you continue to develop your career within an award-winning practice.
Within this role you will advise on high-quality work spanning; buyouts, exits, carve-outs, co-investments, secondary transactions, management incentive plans, leveraged finance support, portfolio management work and much more!

You will work closely with major global investment funds and sponsors, developing long-term client relationships and gaining exposure to sophisticated, multi-jurisdictional deal work across a range of regulated and high-growth sectors.
As a Senior Associate, you will also play an active role in client relationship management and business development, helping to enhance both your own profile and the wider team’s market presence. In addition, you will take responsibility for supervising and mentoring junior lawyers, contributing to a high-performing and supportive team culture.

Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with 5+ PQE Private Equity experience
- Technically strong with a commercially focused approach to client advice
- Confident managing deals with appropriate supervision and taking ownership of outcomes
- Actively interested in business development and growing client relationships
- Someone who takes their responsibility to junior colleagues seriously and leads by example
