Vice President / Principal – European Growth / Private Equity Fund (Technology Sector) - London
Our client, a European Growth Equity / Private Equity fund specialising in investments in leading technology companies, is seeking an experienced VP / Principal to join their investment team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate to develop and execute investment strategies, and negotiate transactions with target companies.
- Source and take the lead on investment opportunities.
- Monitor portfolio financial performance and work closely with management teams to ensure strategic alignment and growth whilst driving value creation and operational excellence.
- Manage, mentor, and develop junior team members across multiple roles.
- Clear and structured path to partner within the firm.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of investment experience, ideally within growth equity or private equity, with a background in investment banking or consulting.
- Strong experience within the technology sector is essential.
- Proven ability to manage and guide junior team members, ensuring high-quality output and development.
- Exceptional academic background (degree-level education in a relevant field) and a solid foundation of relevant professional experience.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to thrive in a global, collaborative environment.
- Extensive transaction experience gained within a top-tier growth equity or private equity firm.
- Highly ambitious, entrepreneurial, and self-motivated, with strong judgment and the ability to anticipate the needs of the team.
