Senior / Principal Associate Family Solicitor (5+ PQE) - Cambridge - Competitive Salary + Benefits + Bonus
A leading national law firm is seeking a Senior / Principal Associate Family Solicitor to join its highly regarded team in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Family Solicitor to join a top-tier practice, advising an exclusively private client base on complex and high-value family matters.
The Family team is recognised for advising high-net-worth individuals, professionals, entrepreneurs and business owners on a broad range of matters, including complex financial remedy and private children cases. Working alongside recognised specialists, you will gain exposure to some of the highest quality privately funded work in the market.
This role offers significant autonomy, strong business development opportunities and a genuine platform to further develop your profile within a collaborative and ambitious practice.
The Role:
- Managing a caseload of high-quality privately funded family matters
- Advising on divorce, financial remedy and private children matters
- Handling complex financial cases involving high-net-worth individuals
- Working on sensitive and complex children matters
- Providing strategic and commercially focused advice to clients
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and intermediaries
- Supporting business development and networking initiatives
- Contributing to the continued growth and success of the team
- Collaborating with colleagues on complex and high-value matters

The Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in Family Law
- Strong experience advising on privately funded family matters
- Excellent technical knowledge across financial remedy and children work
- Experience gained within a regional, city or specialist family practice preferred
- Strong client care and relationship management skills
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to business development
- Ambitious and motivated to further develop their practice
- Excellent communication, drafting and organisational skills
- Collaborative team player with a forward-thinking approach
