Private Household Manager – Live-In Estate Role (24/7)

Location: Private Estate (Live-Onsite essential) – 2 hours from London
Reporting To: Chief of Staff, Family Office
Salary: TBC – circa £80k-£100k dependent on experience. Flexibility to consider a higher package for an exceptional candidate with extensive relevant experience.

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional hospitality-led Household Manager to oversee the full operational management of a prestigious private stately home and its wider residential operations.

This is a rare opportunity for an outstanding private household professional or luxury hospitality leader to bring world-class standards of service, discretion and operational excellence to one of the country’s finest private residences.

Preference will be given to candidates who have held senior leadership responsibility within a substantial private household or estate, overseeing internal operations including housekeeping, service, maintenance, presentation, staffing, contractors, procurement, inventories, budgets and the seamless running of the residence.

Exceptional candidates from five-star boutique hotels or luxury private members’ clubs will also be considered, particularly where they have demonstrated broad operational ownership and highly personalised service. Candidates whose experience is solely within large corporate hotel environments are unlikely to have the breadth of responsibility required.

The successful candidate will understand how to operate a private stately home with the polish and precision of world-class hospitality, while ensuring it remains a discreet and seamlessly managed private residence — never a hotel.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
