Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

A major attraction is the client base. The team acts for HNW and UHNW individuals and families, international clients, entrepreneurs, investors, and owners of significant landed and historic estates. The wider firm has outstanding capabilities across private wealth, tax, trusts, family, and landed estates, creating genuinely multidisciplinary work rather than residential property advice in isolation.

About You

We are particularly interested in speaking with solicitors at 1-3 PQE who have developed their experience within a well-regarded residential or private property practice.

Candidates are likely to demonstrate:

  • A very strong academic record
  • High-quality training and post-qualification experience
  • Experience gained within a highly regarded residential or private property team
  • Strong technical grounding in property law
  • Exposure to high-value residential transactions, or a clear desire to specialize at this end of the market
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills
  • Confidence dealing with sophisticated clients
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A commercial, pragmatic, and highly professional approach

You do not necessarily need to be coming from an identical UHNW private property practice. We are equally interested in hearing from strong junior lawyers at respected firms who have the academic background, technical ability, and client skills to make the step into this market.

Why Consider It?

This is an opportunity to join one of the strongest private wealth platforms in the market and develop alongside lawyers recognized as leaders in their respective fields.

For an ambitious junior property lawyer, the role offers exposure to exceptional clients, complex and high-value transactions, and a genuinely international private client practice.

It is particularly well suited to someone who has built strong foundations within a respected property team and is now looking to take the next step into the very top end of the private property market.
