A fantastic opportunity to only work SCHOOL TERM TIME but get paid all year. This means you would get 10 weeks holiday per year PAID.

Hours: 35 hours per week, 5 days over 7 on a roster system

Shift times: Earlies 06:30 – 14:30; Lates 12:00 – 19:30

Job Ref: 679103

Equated pay means the effective hourly rate is £13.32 but reduced to £12.16 to enable you to be paid across the entire year. This salary is based on ONLY working term times with substantial time during School Holidays. However equated pay means you get paid every month including School Holidays. Effectively you would get 10 weeks off fully paid when school is closed; this is also the only time holiday can be taken.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
