About the Role

As a Transaction Assistant you will be working alongside our Operations team within Private Shopping, responsible for delivering a seamless client experience at point of sale. You will be responsible for processing complex transactions, packaging and dispatch, completing financial paperwork for audit and security processes. You will demonstrate detailed systems and till knowledge, able to resolve issues and queries and work in a fast paced environment.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Investigating quotes for dispatch and delivery arrangements, both locally and internationally as required through our in-store specialist teams.
  • Adhering to the Harrods Policy, Procedures and due diligence guidelines.
  • Upholding the Harrods Values and striving to deliver the best luxury service at point of sale by providing an impartial central support to our Private Shopping team.
  • Communicating clearly and concisely with colleagues through all channels, providing the very best level of support.
  • Logging work correctly, in a timely manner and is able to locate as required including goods on approval, bank transfers, gift card sales, transactions to be completed in transaction services, and dispatches.
  • Facilitating processes including alterations, dynamic currency conversion, gift wrap, and engraving.

About You

You will be experienced in processing transactions, operational procedures, and delivering seamless support to the wider team. It is important to be accurate and process driven, able to work quickly and meet deadlines without affecting quality of work.
