Role Description
As a Private Tutor at Sparkling Minds Tuition, you will deliver one-to-one and small group lessons to students aged 4 to 16 in Esher. You will plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning styles and curriculum requirements, provide clear explanations, and use a variety of teaching methods to sustain engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, preparing learning materials, and communicating regularly with parents or guardians about goals and outcomes. This is an on-site role in Esher, requiring reliable attendance for scheduled sessions and a professional, student-centered approach.

- Strong subject knowledge in core school subjects (such as English, mathematics, and science) and the ability to support learners across different age groups.
- Skills in lesson planning, curriculum alignment, and adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain concepts clearly and build positive relationships with students and families.
- Organizational skills to manage schedules, track progress, and maintain accurate records of lessons and outcomes.
- Previous tutoring or classroom teaching experience, ideally with learners aged 4 to 16.
- Relevant academic qualifications (such as a degree or teacher training) and familiarity with UK school standards and examinations.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing, including willingness to undergo background checks (e.g., DBS) as required.
- Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic approach to supporting students’ confidence, motivation, and long-term learning goals.
