Company description
Teachers Delivered is a UK platform for private tuition from qualified teachers only. Every tutor holds a recognised teaching qualification, has real classroom experience, and is enhanced DBS checked before they can be listed — no students, no hobbyists. Families search by subject, level and availability, book a single lesson or a regular slot, and pay securely online. We cover Key Stage 1 to A-Level and the 11 Plus, online across the UK and face-to-face where our tutors are based.
Role description
This is not a job in the usual sense, and we would rather say so up front. Tutors on Teachers Delivered are self-employed: you set your own hourly rate (above our £40-per-lesson floor), choose your own hours, and teach as much or as little as suits you alongside whatever else you do — a full-time post, part-time work, or retirement.

What we do: bring you parents who are specifically looking for a qualified teacher, handle booking and payment (parents pay in advance; you are paid automatically through Stripe with nothing to invoice or chase), provide the online classroom, and carry out the vetting that lets families book with confidence. We take 20% of each lesson booked through the platform, and nothing else — no listing fee, no subscription.
What you do: teach. One-hour lessons, one-to-one, online or face-to-face, to pupils from Key Stage 1 to A-Level in the subjects you are qualified in. Keep your availability current, reply to parents promptly, and deliver the kind of lesson that gets a child re-booked.

Setting up takes about ten minutes: a profile, your subjects and rate, your availability, and the documents for vetting. Once your DBS is verified you are live.
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS or equivalent) and experience teaching the UK curriculum
- An enhanced DBS certificate, or willingness to obtain one before being listed — a hard requirement; nobody appears on the site without it
- Subject expertise at one or more of Key Stage 1–3, GCSE, A-Level or 11 Plus
- The ability to plan a lesson around one pupil's needs and communicate clearly with parents
- A reliable internet connection and a quiet space for online lessons
- The right to work in the UK as a self-employed tutor
