Doctorcall is one of the UK’s longest-established private GP services, with over 35 years of experience delivering high-quality medical care. Based in London, we pioneered the UK's first visiting doctor service and now provide thousands of private GP visits each year.
As a Doctorcall Doctor
As a Doctorcall doctor you will care for a diverse patient population including international travellers, business executives, hotel guests, families and Doctorcall members.
We are seeking a confident experienced, self-motivated General Practitioner to provide high-quality, personalised care in patients' homes, hotels and workplaces through night shifts with occasional day shifts where possible. Working with Doctorcall means embracing variety. You may also have the opportunity to become a patient’s preferred doctor through our membership service, building an ongoing relationship and providing greater continuity of care over time.

Most consultations involve routine primary care presentations. Occasionally doctors may be asked to support more complex cases, subject to experience and clinical competence. We are a membership-first organisation, Doctors should be familiar with Doctorcall's membership service and be able to explain it to patients where appropriate.
Our operations team manages bookings, logistics, insurer authorisations and patient communications, allowing doctors to focus on clinical care. Our night team will be available 24/7 for any questions or assistance you may need on shift.

Requirements
- GMC-registered GP with a current UK licence to practise
- MRCGP or equivalent postgraduate qualification
- Up-to-date mandatory training and vaccinations
- Experience in the private medical sector
- Experience with prescribing & referring
- Excellent clinical judgment
- Prior night shift experience
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Able to work independently with a compassionate, patient-first approach
- Access to a car and ability to travel throughout London
