Overview
Pathway Legal is working with an established Belfast law firm seeking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor to join its team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience across Wills, Probate, Trusts, and estate planning who is looking to develop their career within a supportive private client practice.
The firm is particularly interested in candidates who have experience advising business owners, directors, shareholders, and high-net-worth individuals, particularly where their personal and family wealth planning overlaps with their business interests.
The firm is open in terms of the level of seniority and will consider both full-time and part-time candidates. Hybrid working is also available, with flexibility for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on Wills and estate planning
- Probate and administration of estates
- Trusts and succession planning
- Inheritance tax and related tax considerations
- Advising high-net-worth individuals and families
- Advising business owners, directors, and shareholders on personal estate and succession planning
- Handling matters involving family and owner-managed businesses, shareholdings, and succession considerations
- Developing strong relationships with clients and other professional advisers

Essential Skills and Experience
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in Private Client law
- Experience across Wills, Probate, Trusts, and estate planning
- Good understanding of succession planning
- Strong client care and communication skills
- Ability to manage matters independently and work collaboratively within a team
- Excellent attention to detail
Experience advising high-net-worth individuals, business owners, or clients with more complex succession and wealth planning requirements would be particularly advantageous.
