Probate Solicitor (0-2 PQE), Belfast City Centre

Overview

Pathway Legal are delighted to be working with a highly regarded and successful local law firm based in Belfast City Centre, who are seeking to appoint a Probate Solicitor to join their busy and growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor (0-2 PQE) who has an interest in developing their career within probate and private client work. The successful candidate may come from a general practice background with experience in probate matters and will have the opportunity to work within an established and supportive legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of probate and estate administration matters.
  • Advising clients on probate processes, estate administration and related matters.
  • Preparing legal documentation and correspondence.
  • Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions and relevant third parties.
  • Supporting the wider team with the progression of files from instruction through to completion.
  • Providing a high level of client care and maintaining strong professional relationships.

Essential Skills

  • Qualified Solicitor with 0-2 years’ post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in probate, private client or general practice work.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy caseload.
  • Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • A genuine interest in developing a career within probate and private client law.
