Probate Solicitor/Fee Earner (Hybrid working)

Bristol, Sheffield, Stratford Upon-Avon or Manchester

£40,000 - £65,000 + Bonus
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

In this role, you’ll manage a varied caseload of probate cases from start to finish, with a client-focused approach to targets. You won’t need to bring a following of clients with you as the firm will source new work for you. You’ll also be supported by the firm’s innovative legal technology – with AI enabled processes supporting the firm’s legal technology platform and additional plans ahead, so there’s never been a more exciting time to join!

The probate team has seen significant growth over the past year allowing for plenty of opportunities for further career growth and development.

What your role will involve:

  • Manage your own caseload of probate cases varying in complexity from start to finish, with support of a case management system and AI tools
  • Use our case management system to make sure information is recorded accurately
  • Engage with clients mainly by telephone and email
  • Work collaboratively with expert support from the team to continually develop your legal skills, administrative support will also be provided
  • Use your legal knowledge to mentor more junior members of the team

About you:

  • A qualified solicitor or legal executive in private practice (CILEX or STEP qualification), or have the equivalent experience in probate law. Ideally circa 3PQE+
  • The ability to use your initiative and effectively prioritise and organise your work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
  • A client-focused approach with the ability to build positive relationships in a remote setting
