Role Overview

You bring a methodical approach to technical work, with the confidence to investigate faults, improve repair processes, and help others follow them consistently. You’re comfortable working within a quality management system and understand that clear procedures and accurate documentation are essential to delivering reliable results.

As a Probe Lab Engineer, you’ll combine hands-on ultrasound probe repair with process development, SOP updates, and the coaching of other engineers. Working to ISO 13485 requirements, you’ll help ensure repair methods are technically sound, clearly documented, and consistently applied across the lab.

If you enjoy solving technical problems and sharing your expertise, this is an opportunity to take ownership of both your work and the development of the team’s repair capability.

About the Role

Our client is a specialist healthcare technology business supporting hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers with diagnostic imaging equipment. They provide independent servicing, repairs, maintenance, rental, and equipment sales, helping healthcare teams reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and maintain high standards of patient care.

Combining technical expertise with innovative digital tools, this is a forward-thinking business operating in a sector where the work has real impact.

Daily Responsibilities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
