Drive Real Service Improvement

As a Problem Manager, you don't just react to incidents, you eliminate their root causes. You'll lead RCA investigations, identify recurring issues, and implement preventative actions that improve service reliability and customer experience.

The role places you at the centre of operational excellence, working with technical teams, service managers, customers, and leadership to understand trends, prevent repeat failures, and influence strategic improvement decisions.

Recruitment Summary

Solve the causes, not just the symptoms. Lead service improvement, influence technical strategy, and deliver lasting business value.

Purpose

Identify and eliminate the underlying causes of incidents, reduce repeat occurrences, and drive service improvement through structured root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Problem Management process and governance.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations.
  • Coordinate technical teams to identify underlying causes.
  • Create and manage Problem Records.
  • Identify Known Errors and Workarounds.
  • Track corrective and preventative actions through to completion.
  • Monitor incident trends and recurring service issues.
  • Drive continual service improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure lessons learned are captured and shared.
  • Provide RCA reports to customers, leadership, and service teams.
